**Sorry, a day late!!
I know that it is the end of the school year, but I am so excited to have tried out a new website with my students!! They have begun experimenting with a new blogging site, and the results were amazing! They had a 30 minutes session, which ended up being an hour because they were so into it!! This is what teaching is all about, showing students the joy and accomplishment that can be generated by writing!!!
There are many challenges that we face in our daily lives, but where would we be without them? I think challenges force us to venture outside of our comfort zones and to reflect on what’s truly important. The last nine months have been a challenge for me, but when I stop and reflect, I am truly amazed at just how much I have grown.
I don’t know what to write, but sometimes no words speak louder than ones we actually vocalize. This bring any thoughts to mind?
Have you every been in a situation where you are scheduled every hour of every day?
Where you wake up in the middle of the night, just to remember another appointment?
Where you see your husband for five minutes after work before he runs to one sport with one son and you are running with the other?
Just trying to find the time to run to the store for a loaf of bread seems impossible at times?
But then there are the rewards….
Cherishing the precious moments where you watch your sons excelling at the tournaments in which they train so hard for.
Spending five minutes in the car before the bus comes, where there is peace, before the chaos begins..
The kisses good night and “Thank yous” that make it all worth while.
The warmth of a family room in a house filled with love. Childrens’ delight when opening stockings on Christmas Morning!
Writing is so much fun. I can’t wait to become a better writer by slicing every Tuesday.
